A Gallery Evening. 2nd edition. Scape X New Art Collective. 10 October 2025. 6pm.
labyrinth:
To enter a labyrinth is to relinquish the map. Labyrinth: Revelations invites guests into a sensorial, poetic space where the known gives way to the mysterious — where understanding is not delivered, but felt in fragments, spirals, and flickers of insight.
Unlike linear exhibitions that chart a clear arc or resolution, this gallery evening embraces the labyrinth as both a physical and conceptual form: nonlinear, disorienting, open-ended. Here, revelation does not reside at the centre but emerges in the act of wandering, revisiting, questioning.
The labyrinth is a structure of unlearning — a counter-map that resists straight lines, favouring intuition over instruction, and sensation over certainty. Each artwork becomes a threshold, a portal, or a detour into myth, memory, and material exploration.
